Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I hope all have been doing well!
At Embrace, we have been continually amazed and praise the Lord by how many boys have been able to return home by his mercies. We continue to pray for the boys who have found themselves stuck at Embrace due to having no family able to take them in. We are working on foster care options for these boys, hoping to find families within churches that are willing to welcome them. We had a great time celebrating thanksgiving and remembering how far the Lord has brought embrace. We are also in full preparation for Reconnect Camp and all the Christmas festivities.
Edgar has been going out with his team constantly to preach and do evangelism. They have been more focused on doing more follow ups with a few guys they have met, such as a men Salat who was willing to meet up a second time. Edgar and a few other brothers from the church had gone on a mission trip in a place called Torosei known to the Maasai for a church plant effort which went well.
Edgar and Toma as a family have been doing well. We were able to assist our friends from church with taking them to the hospital for the delivery of their first child which we praise the Lord for. Also, during this time our vehicle had broken down and we are in the process of hopefully being able to fix it.
Prayer points are:
- Pray that we as Embrace are able to find foster families and that peoples hearts may be moved to take on this responsibility.
- Pray that this camp that is coming up may be a success.
- Pray for Edgar and his team to continue to be faithful in the work they are doing.
- Pray that we are able to repair our vehicle.
