The semiannual meeting of the PCSBA’s ministers in Sacramento may not always work for all the pastors from the South region. That is why we organize and have these meetings in their local churches. These meetings are necessary to have a time of fellowship, forming relationships among the churches, uphold the unity, and develop mission strategies for those regions.
On March 11, same meeting took place in a church at Montebello and had three seminars. The first seminar was by pastor Valeriy Konopelkin. He was covering the idea of spiritual leadership through examples in the Old Testament. The second seminar was by pastor Anatoliy Aheyev who was talking about the importance of prayer in the life of a pastor.
The third seminar was prepared by pastor Ivan Mileyev on the topic “The Potential for Church Growth”. He pointed out that it is important to identify and invest in those who are now part of the church, and especially those who are 20 to 50 years old. This is important not only for the present time, but also for the future of the local church.
During the men’s meeting, there was also another meeting for pastors’ wives and other sisters of the southern region.
After discussing some of the current issues of the PCSBA’s life, there was a dinner prepared by the brothers and sisters of the local church. Many thanks to the pastor of the church Valery Konopelkin and all members of the local church for their hospitality, and a warm welcome.
President of PCSBA, Ivan Mileyev
