«Old Fashioned Country Festival» was a huge event that was organized by the Cornerstone Church in Sacramento on October 15. The premises of the church were decorated in old West style, and many guests dressed for the occasion. Over 500 people visited this event.
The festival’s program had a lot to offer to those who came. Pastor Fred Jenz shared about the American values of the past and illustrated Biblically how inevitable it is for evil to exist in the modern world. He expressed his confidence that good will always overcome evil. Pastors Oleg Kostyuk and Andrey Dzuba shared about church service, and what motivates them to care for newly arriving immigrants. The worship bands performed well-known American Hymns. The guests were greeted by vendors who shared their artistic specialties and gave away a lot of things to the guests. The children had a lot of fun activities such as jump houses, darts, mini zoo, aquarium, puppet show, engaged in gold digging, farming, baking, bee keeping, sowing, and art. The hosts of the event, Ilya Koryaka and Vasiliy led fun raffles and gave away valuable presents at the end. The festival also had a lot of free food: popcorn, sweet waffles, burgers and hot dogs, orange refreshments, delicious ice cream, coffee, baked corn, and sweets. No one went home hungry!
We are grateful to God for every person and are inviting everyone to come to Cornerstone’s church services at 5540 Date Ave, Sacramento at 10:00 a.m.
