The Association’s president I. V. Mileyev greets everyone with the following Resurrection Sunday greeting:
Dear brothers and sisters!
I rejoice with you on the Resurrection Sunday! Christ has risen! He is risen indeed!
The angel at the tomb reminded the women with the words that Jesus Christ spoke to His disciples not long before His death: “the son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” (Luke 24:7-8). They forgot these words of their Teacher.
The disciples of Christ not only need to listen, but also to “hear and remember” the words of their Teacher, then they will not be in a position of seeking “the living among the dead” (Luke 24:5).
There will be no place for doubts in our life because “faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. (Rom. 10:17)
The news that “He is not here: He has risen” (Luke 24:6), becomes our celebration, worship and adoration of the Risen One!
May the words of the Risen One live in our hearts and may we remember Apostle Paul’s advice to his co-laborer Timothy “Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, descendant of David” (2 Tim. 2:8--9). May this be the driving force of our lives!
