The fire victims in Paradise need all the help they can get. To help them, you can do the following.
PHYSICAL HELP
«Samaritan’s Purse» Ministry opened their headquarters in Chico. They are in need of volunteers who, after receiving short trainings, will be able work at the fire site. The task consists of sorting through the remains of ruined houses and finding personal valuables of the fire victims. In some cases, there will be a need to cut down trees, and dump the rubble remains. Soon thereafter, there will be a need to reconstruct some of the original church buildings.
Volunteers can work in 4-8-hour shifts. Trainings start at 8:30 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. The trainings take place daily. Material, tools, and equipment will be provided by the “Samaritan’s Purse” Ministry. The main thing is to have the desire, everything else will be taught through training.
The headquarters’ address is: Calvary Chapel Church, 1888 Springfield Drive, Chico, CA 95928.
The church is located in the theater building and has a large parking lot.

SPIRITUAL HELP
In the near future, the federal services and the state services will allow the Paradise residents to return to their previous places of residence. During this time, there will be a great need that these people would receive maximum counseling possible. In order for a person to go through the initial shock and fear of returning to the burned down houses, they need someone who will be there to show compassion and support for them.
The Chaplain of the local Sheriff department openly invites churches to take part in this process. This is one of the most pressing spiritual needs!
To help in this way please contact brothers listed below.
