God is doing some exciting things at the Pacific Thrift Store! As most of you are aware, Pacific Thrift Store, a ministry of PCSBA, is the primary funding source for the missions department of PCSBA. The store, under the leadership of Pavel Tsvirinko and with contribution of dedicated employees and volunteers, experienced a record-setting January, with sales exceeding all previous January sales. Praise God!
Not only has the Lord been blessing the operations of the store, but He has also given us an opportunity to expand into new area of operations. As a result, a new division called Pacific Thrift Logistics has been created to work in conjunction with the Pacific Thrift Store. Pacific Thrift Logistics will focus on shipping unsold clothes to customers in India, Pakistan, and Latin America, as well as providing loading & unloading services to transportation companies that require such services. To more effectively meet the needs of new and existing operations, a new warehouse location in McClellan park has been leased effective 2/1/2019. The Scripture reminds us: “You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” – Deuteronomy 8:18. To dedicate the new building to Lord’s purposes, a dedication prayer was held on Saturday, February 9th, with pastors of local churches, PCSBA committee members and others attending. We pray and trust this new expansion will be a wonderful way to more effectively fulfill the Great Commission!
Both Pacific Thrift Store and Pacific Thrift Logistics will continue to operate under the supervision of the existing board of directors. Pavel Tsvirinko will continue to lead the Pacific Thrift Store, Alik Yanovksiy will manage the Pacific Thrift Logistics, and both will report to Vasiliy Stupin, chairman of the Board of Directors.

- Please pray for PTS & PTL, that God may use both as an instrument of His glory!
- Please consider volunteering in any capacity you can. We need cashiers, clothes sorters, drivers, warehouse workers and security guards! You can reach the store at 916-514-0154. The greatest gift you can give is the gift of time – partner with us as we are doing Lord’s work!
- Please donate clothes to our store or set up a donation station at your church. We can provide a bin for your church location and will pick within 24 hours of the bin getting filled up!
