This year on Labor Day weekend, PCSBA organized United Camp on August 30th through September 2nd. It all happened at Tannery Gulch Campground located in Trinity Center in Northern California. Churches all around Sacramento came together and nearly 800 people came to the camp.
We were blessed to have Manny Pereira as our guest speaker who shared with us amazing sermons. Our theme verse of the camp was from 2Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." Manny covered topics about the source, perfection, authority, power, and mission of the Holy Scriptures.
We also had worship in our services led by the youth from First Slavic Baptist Church. During the day, we had many activities going on all over the campground and at the lake. We had a 3-story houseboat, two speedboats, a huge floating iceberg on the lake to climb, volleyball at the beach, basketball on the street, ping-pong table, board games, and much more.
This year, we were lucky to have a coffee shop in a camp. They served the entire camp with coffee, teas, other drinks, and even some donuts. We had ice cream one day, chips and dip the other. Did we mention this was all free?
On our last night, we had a Carnival themed party. We had games, music, fellowship, and on top of that, we served shaved ices, popcorn, cotton candy, s'mores, coffee and much more.
Praise God for blessing us another year at United Camp and keeping everyone safe, well, and most importantly built up in our faith with the powerful sermons.
