Pavel Tsvirinko, who is the manager of Pacific Thrift Store, says the following: “Praise God that we continue our ministry. This month we sent out two containers, which means that there will be income that helps to support the Association’s missionary ministry. Ivan Vladimirovich Mileyev visited us and was a great encouragement to us. Come help us, donate the things that you may no longer need. We are always welcoming of this aid, and the ministry for the glory of God continues to expand”.

I would like to take this opportunity to provide an update on what’s happening at the Pacific Thrift Store & Logistics, a ministry of the Pacific Coast Slavic Baptist Association. As a reminder, this ministry currently operates in two categories: retail store and warehouse operations. Both operations are tightly interconnected and benefit each other. Donations are first cycled through the retail store and the warehouse then resells unsold clothes and shoes to our partners in Pakistan and Nicaragua. Since we expanded our warehouse operations a year ago, we certainly learned a lot. It has been a year full of challenges and blessings at the same time. Most of all we are thankful for our volunteers, who come in to the store and the warehouse to help with tasks like decorating store, processing and sorting donations and preparing items for shipment. Galatians 6:10 says: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” This verse comes to life with our volunteers! We are thankful to God for you and the greatest gift you can give – your time! After all, every dollar saved is a dollar sent in support of our missionaries throughout the world. By serving at the store or at the warehouse, you are part of the amazing work that God is doing throughout the world!
