This is a remarkable time, during which we find ourselves in the quarantine, not that we are forced to stay home, but that while being at home, we can be active in ministry. For that we need to have only the phone and the internet.
For me, the present time is full of leadership meetings. There are meetings of the chairmen of Associations about the missionary congress, the meetings with leaders of the Association’s ministries, the Association’s committee, the administrative board, meetings with head pastors of the Association, the prayer missionary meeting, youth ministry, meeting with the editors of “Divine Vineyard”, teaching of Missiology at the Blagovest Institute of Ministry, and much more. The ZOOM visits of churches in various cities and countries is also very positive. For example, I had an opportunity to serve in preaching the Word in Valencia (Spain), Rome (Italy), Minnetonka (Minnesota), Honolulu (Hawaii), House of Prayer (West Sacramento), Sand Diego, Oceanside, Yuba City. Thanks to God for the media opportunities that allow us to have the fellowship and ministry in the lives of churches. In addition, there was a new opportunity to record short video clips “Thoughts Out Loud”, and upload them to YouTube and other social media platforms.
We have to not only wait for the time when the doors of the churches will be opened and we will have church services like we are used to, but we must take advantage of the opportunities that we have today. One church of the Association, which had about 60-80 members, used this time to go online and their church now has about 500 visitors, some of whom are people located within the region of their church. God blesses if we use the opportunities that we have, and increase the benefit for His glory. The leaders of this church at the present time are planning how to meet and accept these people who will start attending their church after the quarantine is lifted. These are wonderful troubles and worries to have. All glory to God!
