In light of the cancellation of our radio program on 1690 AM, the Association was forced to switch to a new station at 87.7 FM. As a result of this shift, we have lost all of our previous listeners, and so far, have not gained any consistent listeners at the new station. In addition, the audience of this new station is completely different than what was before. The new audience is generally unbelievers, and as it is said today, “unchurched” people, and it is very difficult to gain their attention. For them, many of our programs are hard to understand and boring. They are not interested in the issues that we are raising and shedding light upon. They would rather listen to entertainment programs or discuss current events.
Because of that, we have to adjust our ministry and find new speakers as well as new topics. It is very uneasy tasks. The pastors who for the last 20-30 years have been in contact mostly with the believers have a hard time to switch to a language that is understandable to the “unchurched. It is difficult for them to discuss issues of concern to the people of the world because they practically do not delve into the affairs of the world and do not know them. In addition, the challenge is not to miss the opportunity to tell the audience about salvation and the Savior. However, the change to the new station is not accidental; God has placed us here for a reason. That is why these changes are necessary, and we must adjust to the new circumstances and opportunities for ministry.
Our programs are aired twice a week for 15 minutes each from 3:15 to 3:30 PM. Here are the themes that will be covered.
