In light of the challenges due to COVID 19, stepping down of Pastor Benjamin Gorelov due to health issues, and high rent cost, our Slavic Evangelical Missionary Church of Orange County decided to merge with the sister church – the Forward Church.
- Merging is motivated by the mission of the church – to continue spreading the Gospel in this country
- Merging – gives an opportunity to use the resources for a more fruitful ministry
- Merging – facilitates an opportunity to minister to all
- Merging – would provide more opportunities to care for those who are in need of care, such as our elderly, our families, our families, and our youth!
- Together we will be better, and we could do more for the Kingdom of God
- Together we will be able to be more efficient at serving people
- Together we will be stronger
- Together we will improve in the Gospel proclamation, spiritual growth, and will have more opportunities for all of our ministries.
Sunday, December 20 was the first Sunday when we had both congregations joined as one church under the name of THE FORWARD CHURCH. The head pastor of this church was, and after the merger, will continue to be Bogdan Kipko. This is the first step of faith of what seems to be God’s will for us! Our desire is to follow Him!
