The International Counselling Institute Coram Deo in partnership with the Association’s Blagovest Institute and on the basis of the Bryte church is announcing new enrollment into the three-year counselling training program. Everyone is welcome to join this program, including the pastors, leaders of various ministries, as well as every member of the churches.
This is the second time this program is being taught. The first graduating class will be having their commencement ceremony on April 2.
The program is developed by Ron Harris, PhD and consists of 12 modules. To find out more about the modules, read the descriptions on the institute’s website.
«This training allowed me to understand my own heart and why I am acting the way that I do”, is what one of the graduates from Sacramento said about her experience with the program.
Another student who is a church minister shared his impression of the training: “I used to think of myself as a regular Christian. I was striving for something in life, knew what I was worth, and knew how to put people in their place. Everything in my life was as it should be.
I think that if someone told me ahead of time what I will go through during this training, most likely I would not agree. God was literally breaking me and shattering all my perceptions of myself. I was able to look inside of myself – into my very heart. Today I am happy to see how He has transformed me through this training. I have a very close relationship with Christ, my prayers became so different now; I am really communicating with Him. If previously I thought of Him as the God in heaven, now He is the God who is on the throne of my heart. I have also changed not only in my perspective about Him, but also about people as well. I really recommend everyone to go through this program.
After seeing the radical changes that God made in my life as a result of the training, the leadership of the church decided to host the Coram Deo program at our church.”
Similar student testimonies can be heard about all the modules in different countries where these sessions are being taught. In the process of learning, God is transforming those who are yielding to Him, and He allows them not only to understand themselves and the motives of their hearts, but also teaches them how to help others.
The first training session of the new program will begin on April 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Russian Baptist Church of Bryte at: 1000 Sacramento Ave, West Sacramento, CA 95605. Feel free to contact: (916) 254-7018,
