"Our church is one of the first Slavic churches in the USA. It was founded in 1910, and in the fall we will celebrate its 112th anniversary," says Vasiliy Rogozyan, pastor of the Bethany Baptist Church in Los Angeles.
Since the majority of the church members are elderly, not so many active events take place in the church. However, services are held regularly, and guests are always welcome here. Even during the coronavirus pandemic, the brothers and sisters continued to hold religious services - and, thank God, no one got seriously ill. To this day, Pastor Anatoliy Petrovich Ageyev continues reading and preaching of God’s Word.
The brothers and sisters of the Bethany church are very hospitable, and they love when brother Rudy Vince visits them. During one of his recent visits in June 2022, his Word about peace and true hope inspired and encouraged the members of this small local church. It was specifically touching the hearts, because it was said by a man who recently endured the sudden death of his wife. Rudy Vince also served the church by singing and encouraging everyone who was present.
On behalf of the church, Pastor Vasiliy Rogozyan invites everyone who wishes to visit, and asks for prayerful support in asking for God to awaken and fill the church with new people.
