Forward Church in Irvine California, where Bogdan Kipko is the Senior and Founding Pastor, held their first ever Ordination Service where two men were ordained for official gospel ministry. The church now has an additional ordained pastor/elder and an ordained deacon. Both of the newly ordained men and their spouses declared vows of commitment to the church and to God, confirming their divine calling and their desire to serve the local church.
This was an amazing celebration of God’s faithfulness for the entire church. In addition to many guests and friends that came to attend and celebrate this momentous occasion at Forward Church, Ivan Mileyev president of PCSBA was present for the ordination. Pastor Victor Chayasirisobhon, 1st Vice President of the Southern Baptist Convention and President of the California Southern Baptist Convention was also in attendance and took part in this Ordination Service. Pastor Victor shared an encouraging message from Joshua 1 that inspired and motivated the church to "arise," and "be courageous," for the task at hand, namely to continue helping people find hope in Jesus. After the beautiful and highly blessed ordination service, the entire church and all guests and pastors were invited to attend a special Celebration Lunch that followed the service.
Forward Church is thankful for all of the support that it has from the many church networks that it is honored to be a part of.
