House of the Gospel Church in Fresno elected Aleksandr Ivanov as the new senior pastor. We wish him blessings in this very difficult and great charge. May the words of Apostle Paul be fully manifested in the life of this minister.
«…do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in the spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality…Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.” Rom. 12:11-15.
Aleksandr’s short biography is below:
Alex Ivanov was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1985, into a family of Pavel and Maria Ivanov. He repented at the age of eleven at his home church in Chernivtsi, the Second Evangelical Christian Baptist Church. In June of 1998, together with his parents and ten siblings he moved to Fresno, CA.
In 2002, Alex was baptized at House of the Gospel and became involved in camp and youth ministries. Eventually, these ministries led him on short mission projects to various countries in Europe. In 2011, he became the coordinator of ministry in Europe for Power in Truth Missions organization.
Alex married his wife Inna in 2011 and together they continue to serve the Lord. In February 2019, he was confirmed as the new lead pastor at House of the Gospel, Fresno, CA.
