On December 11th, the Association’s ministry leaders had their last meeting of this year. This meeting was over ZOOM, and it was dedicated to giving thanks to God for the past year and to plan the upcoming year.
The thanksgiving was multifaceted. Some were thankful for the dedicated and sacrificial members of the team, others were thankful that despite all of the difficulties, the ministries did not cease, and in some cases even expanded. Some remarked that thanks to the limitations of the pandemic, there are new opportunities to implement modern technology such as ZOOM, Viber, WhatsApp, as well as other communications platforms.
Although everyone voiced their concerns about the possible difficulties in light of the current situation, nevertheless, they were planning various ministry activities both here and overseas. Everyone understood that the future is in God’s hands, but at the same time, every Christian must do whatever they can in living out the Scriptures: “Whoever speaks is to do so as one who is speaking actual words of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever» (1Peter. 4:11).
