With the change of leadership in the Missionary Ministry, there have been some other changes as well. There were also changes to the ministry team as well. Some could no longer be a part of this ministry while others joined their ranks. At the end of October, the team had an annual retreat and the team went to great length in making all the necessary preparations.
There are plans to have a prayer meeting in February dedicated to ministry in Mexico. The ministry has enough church contacts in Mexico, and there are possibilities of future ministry together. Therefore, if anyone would like to have these contacts, you could receive them at the meeting. There will also be opportunities to learn and share what methods of ministry work there and which have proven to be most fruitful. Similar meetings are planned to take place concerning other regions where the Association’s churches are currently serving.
In order to help the ministry in Spain, there was a decision to support one more missionary who will work on establishing one more church in Barcelona.
Closer to the Easter celebration, there are plans to release a prayer calendar with the names of missionaries who are supported by the Association. The goal of this project is to organize a year-round prayer for missionaries. These calendars will be made available to all of the churches.
My dream is for every Christian to go to sleep, and wake up with a missions’ mindset and thoughts about how to share the Gospel everywhere where we live and work. May God bless us in this.
