On Friday evening, February 19, Adolf Andreevich Pichaj went home to be with the Lord, whom he had served since his youth. Here is what his son writes about the last days of Adolf Andreevich:
**********************
Beloved family and friends, this Friday evening our Heavenly Father graciously took our earthly father, Adolf Andreivich Pichaj, home to be with Him, and has healed him of all his diseases. Since his stroke on Christmas Morning of 2015, Adolf was cared for through many struggles and health crises by his wife, Raisa, and daughter, Linda Beth. (This photo is from his last road trip with Raisa before his stroke on his 85th birthday!) Finally, his body worn out, he could not stay with us any longer, but had to go home to be with his Lord and Savior, who graciously saved him and gave him new and abundant life since Dad professed his faith in Christ as a teenager.
For those who have been praying for us over this time, we thank you. Dad suffered for only a few days before his homegoing, for which we thank God. Please continue to pray for Raisa, and for Linda, Mark, and our family, as we will greatly miss this man who was a husband, a father, and a grandfather.

Adolf Andreevich was a pastor at Bethany Church, Los Angeles, and also served in our Association for a long time. He was the secretary of the Association’s Committee, published the magazine "Vestnik Obedineniya", later was a member of the editorial board of the magazine "Divine Vineyard" and the head of the literary department. While leading the literary department, he distributed spiritually edifying literature to churches.
He was a very progressive person with an amazingly wide range of interests. Even when computers had just begun to appear, he was one of the first to master it, then he bought a computer for the editorial office of the newspaper "Our Days", brought it to Sacramento, developed a keyboard for the Cyrillic alphabet, installed it on the computer and handed everything over to the editorial staff for work. And until recently, while his health allowed him, he worked on the most modern computers, studying and using complex programs.
His dedication to the ministry was impressive. Everything that was entrusted to him, he did with all responsibility and in the best possible way. Living in Los Angeles, he never missed a staff meeting or retreat. Having excellent photographic equipment, he took pictures of all events and transferred the photos to the archive of the Association.
Many remember him as a faithful servant of God and a wonderful person.
We pray that the Lord would send His consolation, His mercy to the family, relatives, and all those close to our dear brother.
